Lucien specialises in criminal defence with a particular focus on advocacy in jury and judge-alone trials. He routinely represents people charged with the full range of Commonwealth and State offences.
He has successfully appeared in jury and judge-alone trials in the District Court, including for aggravated sexual assault, aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnaping.
Prior to being called to the bar, he worked for several years as a trial-advocate at the Aboriginal Legal Service both in Sydney and across country NSW. He has presented talks to solicitors on the Evidence Act, excluding prosecution evidence and police powers.
Outside practice, Lucien is always keen for a hit of tennis or a bushwalk.
