Professional Background
John is a criminal specialist advocate and cross-examiner, with extensive experience and a track record of winning serious and difficult jury cases in both London (at the Old Bailey and various Crown Courts) and in Sydney (at both District and Supreme Court levels). He has appeared in many high profile cases of alleged murder; terrorist related offences (London); drug importations, manufacture and supply; gang and organised crimes; counterfeiting; serious assaults; rape; sexual assaults; fraud - both individual and corporate; conspiracy; and many other alleged offences both serious and not so serious. John has worked with leading International Forensic experts and has studied aspects of forensic evidence. He has a particular interest in firearms and ballistics, tool marks and their interpretation, chemical and fibre analysis, blood spatter and DNA interpretation, and forensic psychiatry and psychology.
