Laura Dive
Laura has 20 years of experience as a barrister. She appears in the Supreme, District, Local, and Children’s Courts, handling both federal and state criminal law matters. She represents both adults and children, including those facing serious children’s indictable charges in the District Court.
During her time at the Bar, Laura spent three years as a Senior Legal Member of the Civil and Administrative Tribunal of NSW, where she adjudicated matters relating to guardianship, enduring powers of attorney, and financial management.
Before being called to the Bar, Laura practised as a solicitor at Legal Aid NSW and the Crown Solicitor’s Office, working in crime, public interest immunity, subpoena law, coronial inquests, and care and protection.
